Exciting Opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab!
Job Description:

Role: Registered Nurse
Department/Cost Center: 200266 - Cardiac Cath Lab
Shift: 4x10's, M-F
1 night on call per week
1 weekend of 48-hour call (Saturday & Sunday) every 5 weeks
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40

- Licenses Required:

State of Nevada Registered Nurse license
State of Nevada Point of Care Analyst (POCA) license

- Required Certifications:

- AHA

- BLS

- ACLS

- NRP

- Experience Required:

Minimum of 2 years in the Cath lab
Prior travel experience is a plus

Additional Information:

Travelers may float to meet organizational needs up to their competency level.
Will be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period.
Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours for low census per 13-week contract (may be full or partial shifts).
Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts.

Purpose:

Deliver optimal patient care utilizing your knowledge and skills within the nursing process.
Accountable for individualized patient outcomes throughout the entire episode of care.
Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

Nature and Scope:

Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems.
Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Engage with families in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation efforts.
Coordinate care with other professionals as necessary.
Mental agility required to provide safe patient care and interact with contacts.
