McNish carries a strong track record of profitable growth and is poised to capitalize on critical needs for further wastewater and water infrastructure investment nationwide\n\n.\nJob Summar\n\nWe are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to support the design, evaluation, and optimization of structural components and systems associated with water and wastewater treatment equipment within our product line. The ideal candidate will apply standard engineering principles to develop cost-effective, compliant, and reliable structural designs that meet contract and project requirements.\n\nKey Responsibility\n\n Make design revisions, recommendations, and evaluations of water and wastewater treatment equipment within our product line to improve designs and/or reduce costs while satisfying contract requirements.\n Perform structural analysis and design for equipment, frames, supports, foundations, and related systems.\n Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and design codes while carrying out technically related tasks.\n Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.\n Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, process, and project engineers to ensure integrated and constructible designs.\n Support project execution by responding to technical inquiries, reviewing submittals, and providing engineering clarification as needed.\n Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, codes, safety regulations, and company design practices.\n Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on design efficiency, manufacturability, and cost reduction.\n\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis).2+ years of relevant structural engineering experience (water/wastewater or industrial equipment experience preferred).\nWorking knowledge of applicable structural design codes and standards.\nProficiency in structural analysis and design software and CAD tools.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .P.E./S.E.
