Estimator Production Build Construction

Position OverviewThe Cost Estimator will work with Project Managers, Facility Operations Specialists and other stakeholders to collect and analyze data in order to estimate the time, money, materials or labor required for new construction, modification, renovation or repair of owned or leased fixed facilities.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expensesTravel (as needed) to jobsites to gather information on materials needed, labor required, and other factorsRead blueprints and technical documents in order to prepare estimatesCreate estimates in accordance with applicable Library of Design StandardsCollaborate with engineers, architects, clients, industry and contractors on estimatesConsult with industry experts and documentation to determine estimates and resolve issuesUse computer software to calculate estimatesRecommend most effective means to provide constructionAssist with modifications of project plans and schedules for the duration of the projectRequired QualificationsBachelors Degree or higherAt least 8 years' experienceDemonstrated experience with RS MeansFamiliarity with MS Office productsAbility to obtain and maintain a CBP SuitabilityUS Citizenship is requiredPay TransparencyThe salary range for this role is $110,550 - $143,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
