About the Clinician's Workday The interventional radiologist will provide comprehensive hospital coverage including interventional radiology procedures and stroke CTs during day shifts. Primary responsibilities include performing lumbar punctures, barium studies, various centesis examinations with drains, and CT/US biopsies as preferred interventional procedures. The clinician will manage approximately 50 studies per day plus 4-6 procedures daily with potential coverage at the outpatient building for contrasted CTs, MRIs, and breast biopsies where radiologist presence is required.

Support Staff: Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses, Techs; Radiology group in Sacramento that performs overflow and and after-hours reads
