Job SummaryResponsible for handling all legal matters which are the result of an assigned caseload, attorney involvement, or client escalation. This includes, but is not limited to, hearings, pleadings, oversight and working with clerical staff. File review, including document review and requests.Review, draft, and sign legal pleadings.Attend court hearings.Communicate with clients regarding settlements and/or any other legal issue that needs to be escalated.Work on special projects and other tasks as requested (this includes but is not limited to filing documents in court(s), assigning attorneys to court appearances, approving outside counsel invoices, etc.Handle any other relevant legal issue related to the job responsibilities.Ability to excel in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.Ability to analyze legal documents efficiently and effectively.License to practice law in the State of Ohio (dual licensed in Michigan a plus).Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.TrainingOur firm provides comprehensive, in-depth training to set each employee up for success.Drug Testing/Background ChecksPrior to hire a background check and drug test is required.BenefitsThe Firm offers a competitive benefits package to all eligible employees, including paid time off and roughly ten (10) paid holidays each year.
