Location: O'Fallon, MO

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: 6:30am-3:00pm

As a Phlebotomist, you play a vital role in the healthcare process by ensuring accurate specimen collection and patient identification. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to quality help support timely and accurate diagnostic testing while creating a positive experience for every patient.

What You'll Do

Collect blood specimens through venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric collections

Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing

Verify patient demographics and obtain required patient signatures to ensure specimen accuracy

Maintain required records and documentation in accordance with established procedures

Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and professional environment

Follow all safety, quality, confidentiality, and compliance standards

Support multiple patient service locations as needed based on business demands

Perform specimen collection and processing duties with minimal supervision while meeting productivity and quality expectations

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills
• Experience with keyboarding and data entry
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations as needed
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying schedules based on staffing needs
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
