Technical Recruiter II – Hardware – San Jose, CA

Muon is seeking a Technical Recruiter to scale our Hardware team by identifying and hiring exceptional talent. In this role, you will lead full‑cycle recruiting for hardware positions and partner as a key resource for hiring managers throughout the hiring process. Own full‑cycle recruiting for technical roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing top talent.

Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define role requirements, develop hiring strategies, and build strong technical pipelines.

Proactively identify and engage high‑caliber candidates through creative sourcing strategies including cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.

Guide hiring managers through the recruiting process, providing recommendations and insights to support efficient and high‑quality hiring decisions.

Use recruiting data and market insights to inform hiring strategies and improve recruiting effectiveness.

Partner with People Operations and hiring teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.

Continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and workflows to support rapid hiring in a high‑growth environment.

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of professional experience as a technical recruiter supporting hardware roles.

2+ years of in‑house recruiting experience.

Experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS systems, as well as LinkedIn Recruiter.

Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers, including executive leadership.

Ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates.

Experience recruiting in the aerospace industry.

The salary range for this role is $138,000 – $154,000, plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package. Full‑time employees receive equity compensation as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, short‑ and long‑term disability and life insurance. We also offer three weeks paid vacation for new employees, 12 paid holidays, unlimited sick time and paid parental leave.
