Job Description Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiologist (Locum Coverage) Our organization is currently in search of an Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage in California. Below are the key details regarding this position:
Job Responsibilities
Perform approximately 90% Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures, which include:
Joint injections
Uterine Fibroid Embolizations (UFE)
Chest port placements
Dialysis care
CT and ultrasound biopsies
Renal cryoablation
Nephrostomy tube placements
CT and ultrasound drain placements
Paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures
Engage in imaging tasks for about 10% of the time between procedures.
Indicate your comfort level with reading various modalities such as CT, ultrasound, plain films, and/or MRI.
Availability for multiple weeks each month on an ongoing basis.
Coverage required Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour shift.
