Position Highlights Hours: Monday-Friday with rotating weekends. Holidays and Travel as needed.
Location: Tinley Park and Oak Lawn
Day shifts: 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm. Evening shifts: 11:30am-8:00pm, 12:30pm-9:00pm. Weekend shifts/Holidays: 8:00am-4:00pm.

Qualifications Must be flexible in covering different locations.
Graduate of an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography with 1-3 years work experience.
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification is mandatory.
Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification required.
Experience 1-3 years of Ultrasound Experience
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $35.25-$52.90, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
Responsibilities Perform sonographic procedures according to department standard in a timely and efficient manner.
Provide patient education in the form of written material and/or verbal explanation prior to, during and subsequent to the procedure to reduce the patient's anxiety and enhance comfort with respect to tolerance of the procedures.
Produce examinations that meet image quality standards in accordance with department protocols.
Submit images for physician interpretation.
Verify accuracy of patient demographic information, pertinent clinical diagnosis, and required technical results. Data must be entered accurately and in a timely fashion to provide optimal patient care.
Verify all technical data entry components are complete prior to the end of shift.
Monitor stock of supplies in imaging rooms to ensure their regular availability by timely reordering, rotation of dated items, and maintenance of a clean and orderly environment.
Report incidences of equipment failure.
Actively support organizational changes.
Adhere to institutional safety procedures as described in the institutional safety program.
Actively participate in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Work closely with nurses and physicians to achieve positive outcomes and optimal patient flow.
Perform job functions while modeling service principles with customer service focus of innovation, service excellence and teamwork to provide the highest quality care and service to patients, families, co-workers and others.
