Neuromuscular Neurologist - Albany Medical College
The Department of Neurology at Albany Medical College is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologists to join and expand our growing Neuromuscular Division.

Albany Medical Center is a private, non-profit academic medical center serving more than 3 million people. The Neurology Department offers programs in Epilepsy, Dementia, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular Disease, Pediatric Neurology, Pain Management, Stroke, and Neurocritical Care.

Position Highlights

Provide patient care in a collaborative environment alongside general and subspecialty neurology colleagues

Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and fellows

Perform and interpret EMG/NCS studies

Participate in plentiful research opportunities

Academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on qualifications and experience

Qualifications

MD/DO or equivalent with board certification in Neurology

Completion of a certified Clinical Neurophysiology or Neuromuscular Fellowship

Active and unrestricted medical license or eligibility for licensure in New York State

Strong interest in education and mentorship

Commitment to excellent patient care

Competitive base salary range $220,000-240,000 depending on academic rank with additional incentive bonus opportunity
