As our OB/GYN physician, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Tacoma, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Women's Health cases making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.
You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate OB/GYN, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex OB/GYN patients, alongside strong communication abilities. This is a full-time (1.0FTE) position based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, a 375 bed Level III Trauma Center.

• There are 9 OB/GYN physicians, 18 CNM's, 6 MFM, 1 Urogynecologist and 2 Gynecologic Oncologists at this location.
• 24/7 in house Laborist and Anesthesia coverage.
• Joseph Medical Center has a Level III NICU capable of caring for infants as young as 22 weeks. We also have a partnership with Seattle Children's for specialty newborn care if needed.
• Joseph Medical Center has achieved Baby Friendly designation as well as recognition by the International Lactation Consultant Association for excellence in lactation care.
• Washington State medical license required at time of employment

Current BLS for Health Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
