As a DSP at Alliance Adult Care Services, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. it’s an opportunity to be a source of encouragement, empowerment, and joy for those you serve. What You’ll Do: • Provide hands-on care and assistance with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where clients feel valued and respected. • Facilitate recreational and social activities that promote skill development and community engagement. • Monitor and document clients’ progress, health, and behavior, ensuring accurate communication with the care team. • Collaborate with family members and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans. • Be a dependable companion and advocate, helping clients achieve their personal goals and maximize independence. Prior experience in caregiving or working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidate.
