Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position requiring at least 1 year of NICU experience and proficiency with advanced respiratory support equipment including Bubble CPAP, NIPPV, and high-frequency ventilation.

Level III NICU at a regional hospital in Grand Junction, CO
Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Weekend requirement: 7 weekends in every 8-week period (Friday & Saturday)
On-call requirement: 2 call shifts per 8-week period
Proficiency required with Bubble CPAP, NIPPV, Draeger vents, HFOV, and Nitric oxide
Epic used for charting
Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
Requirements

• Active CO or Compact RN license required — no pending licenses
• Minimum 1 year of NICU (Level III or higher) experience required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and NRP — must not expire prior to assignment start
• ASN from an accredited nursing program required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
• 2 references required for consideration

Additional Information

Candidates are expected to share knowledge with unit caregivers and allow participation in patient cares, though formal precepting is not required
BSN and specialty certification are preferred but not required
Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
