Project/Unit Description
The Electronic Systems Lifecycle Division (ESL) develops Hardware in the Loop (HITL) test sets, test tools, analysis tools and test methods for US Air Force, Army, and Navy sponsors. This research is critical for supporting development, debugging, analysis and testing of Electronic Warfare (EW) and Integrated EW (IEW) systems.
The Lifecycle Systems Engineering Branch (LSEB) of ESL develops DoD Electronic Warfare and Avionics systems Test and Evaluation solutions, with a specific focus on the design, development, and application of these systems. LSEB works and operates across the systems engineering domain, including project planning, concept of operations (CONOPS), requirements elicitation, design, implementation, verification, and validation, including independent verification and validation (IV&V) work.
