Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.50 - $53.25 / hour

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." This position supports the mission of HCAHealthONE Aurora campuses by optimizing quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Wound/Ostomy RN provides acute and rehabilitative patient care to wound and ostomy inpatients and outpatients; is responsible for direct patient care, education, planning, directing and provision of nursing care to patients in accordance with the Colorado Nurse Practice Act, Physician Orders, recognized nursing techniques and policies, procedures, established clinical competencies; demonstrates critical thinking and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient; Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record. - Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN
• Entry into WOC Nurse Education program or Board Certification by WOCN Society,preferred within 6 months of employment
• Minimum of two years acute care; WOC Nurse experience preferred
