Rehab PTA - PRN

Job Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Salem, OR, supports physical therapy services by assisting patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. The role involves completing required documentation, adhering to licensing requirements, and collaborating with the therapy team to deliver quality care. The PTA must maintain active licensure and comply with credentialing and contract quality assurance standards.

Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and rehabilitation services.

Complete required documentation directly with ATI prior to assignment clearance.

Ensure compliance with licensure requirements, including obtaining permanent license promptly if starting with compact license.

Coordinate with management and credentialing teams regarding eligibility and rehire status.

Participate in quality assurance processes and adhere to contract standards.

Utilize equipment provided during interview and therapy sessions effectively.

Maintain professional conduct and follow dress code as instructed on the first day.

Required Skills & Certifications:

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license valid in Oregon (PERM license required; compact license allowed only temporarily).

Less than one year of experience acceptable.

Ability to complete required documentation and credentialing processes with ATI.

Compliance with contract quality assurance requirements.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Prior experience working with ATI or similar healthcare staffing organizations.

Familiarity with physical therapy equipment and clinical procedures.

Special Considerations:

Candidates with prior permanent or PRN employment at ATI within the last year are not eligible for rehire until separated for one year.

Compact license holders must obtain permanent licensure immediately.

No compact licenses accepted for South Carolina assignments.

Holiday work weeks require 32 hours guaranteed.

On-call duty is not applicable for this role.

Parking and dress code information provided on the first day.

Scheduling:

Day shift schedule with 40 hours guaranteed per week.

Overtime paid at 1.5 times regular rate.

Weekly billing cycle.

Start date: July 27.
