Physical Therapist - RWJBarnabas Health
At RWJBarnabas Health, the Physical Therapist plays a critical role in helping patients restore movement, improve function, and achieve greater independence. Working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, they evaluate and treat pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients while developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs, goals, and clinical presentation.
A typical day for a Physical Therapist may include:

Evaluates pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to assess physical function, mobility, strength, and limitations
Develops individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on patient evaluations, clinical findings, and established goals
Plans and implements treatment programs using standard physical therapy procedures and evidence-based clinical practices
Documents patient evaluations, treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and in accordance with professional and departmental standards
Provides compassionate care tailored to the developmental and functional needs of patients across the lifespan
Maintains a safe, professional, and welcoming outpatient rehabilitation environment
Helping patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life motivates you every day
You remain patient, encouraging, and adaptable while supporting patients through their rehabilitation journey
Continuous learning and professional growth motivate you to stay current with physical therapy practices and evidence-based care
To be considered for this Physical Therapist opportunity:

Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy preferred
Must hold and maintain an active Physical Therapist license in good standing from the State of New Jersey
Must be available to work two evenings per week and occasional Saturdays
