Job Responsibilities
Step into a high-impact colorectal surgery role offering advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques, academic engagement, and the opportunity to shape surgical care within a mission-driven health system.

Join an established, collaborative surgical team within a high-volume hospital and affiliated outpatient sites, with strong multidisciplinary oncology and GI support services.
Practice setting: Saint Agnes Hospital and local ambulatory sites
Access to open, laparoscopic, robotic, and single-port robotic platforms
Lead an integrated surgical practice by providing expert outpatient consultations and inpatient surgical interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care from the initial office visit through hospital recovery
Drive diagnostic excellence by interpreting specialized studies in the Anal Physiology Lab to create precise, evidence-based treatment plans for complex colorectal and pelvic floor conditions
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Experience with minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery strongly preferred; exposure to single-port robotic techniques is highly desirable

Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:

~ Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
