Job Title: Clinical Research Contracts Manager
Type: Contract - 1 year with potential renewal
Joule is currently hiring a Clinical Budgets and Contracts Liaison. This role owns the full clinical trial budget lifecycle—building and forecasting budgets, negotiating terms, and processing payments. You’ll develop and negotiate investigator/institution contracts, consultant agreements, and grants, ensuring agreements are in place ahead of site initiation. The position partners closely with finance, legal, clinical operations, and external sites/vendors to maintain compliance with ICH/GCP and Health Canada requirements. Review clinical trial budgets prior to submission for reimbursement
Create investigator/institution contracts, consultant agreements, and grants
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science or Business
- Strong knowledge of contracting concepts, applicable regulations, and legal terminology
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in legal/contractual and budget activities
- Proficiency with Veeva Clinical and Payment modules, and Grant Tracking system
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of ICH/GCP, Health Canada compliance, and Rx&D Code of Conduct
