Full Time Physiatrist Needed

Department: Physical Therapy Saybrook Rd North - Essex, CT
Hours: 40.00 hours per week, Full-Time benefits eligible
Shift: Shift 1, Days

Our team is also hiring for a full-time Physical Therapist for our Marlborough, CT outpatient site. The Outpatient Physical Therapist administers Physical Therapy services under medical prescription in accordance with Hospital regulation, State of Connecticut Practice Act and quality standards. Develops a plan of care for each patient with the patient's input and agreement, which includes safety, educational, psychological and developmental needs of the patient.
Interprets and assesses data about the patient as evidenced by appropriate goal setting and revision of goals throughout the plan care while explaining treatment goals, plans, techniques and outcomes to patient and or family.
Attends continuing education seminars as required by licensure and schedules and presents an educational program, including tests, to Rehab staff or other medical professionals.
Communicates regularly with Rehabilitation Supervisor, other team members and referring physicians for patient care.
Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy
Experience with electronic medical charting
