Direct Support Care Professional In-Home

Everyday Community Resources (ECR) is looking for reliable, motivated, career-oriented employees who desire to grow with our agency. Employees at ECR Services work in a group home setting with individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professional to provide vital assistance and care to individuals with diverse needs. In this role, you will empower residents to live as independently as possible while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your dedication will help foster a supportive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and engaged. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through personalized care and attentive support. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning in accordance with dietary needs and preferences
Support residents during activities and outings within the community to promote social engagement
Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
Provide emotional support, companionship, and encouragement to enhance residents’ quality of life
Follow all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, and emergency procedures to ensure resident safety at all times
Document all day-to-day activities and ensure required documentation is completed.
Ensure individuals receive their medication and document accurately
Engage with ongoing training requirements 24 hours of annual training required.
Be flexible and a team player
High school diploma or GED equivalent
CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred (training available)
Medication Administration preferred (training available)
