The Packer is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by packing, boxing, and preparing finished chocolate products for shipment while maintaining quality and food safety standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our candy reaches customers looking its best and tasting delicious!
Packer Responsibilities
Place molded chocolate pieces on trays, separate designs, and refill trays as needed.
Move trays of chocolates to packaging machines and add bulk supplies when needed.
Form, seal, and stack boxes for shipping or further processing.
Pack chocolate pieces and candy trays by hand for the next stage of production.
Place chocolates into foiling molds, watch packaging lines, and prepare finished boxes.
Set up boxes, pack bulk candy, and get cartons ready for shipping.
Fill, wrap, and package chocolate bars or hollow pieces into trays or boxes.
Insert sticks, wrap pops, and pack them for shipping.
Clean machines and work areas during downtime or at the end of the shift; follow all sanitation and waste procedures.
Inspect products to make sure they meet quality and food safety standards.
Previous packing experience preferred.
