As an employer, we seek to provide an environment of growth and development for our employees that is consistent with recognizing the rights, needs, and wants of all people.Purpose:To provide medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.Must possess basic computer skillsMust possess current and valid license for Practical NurseExperience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferredEssential Functions:Assists in providing basic healthcare services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeingPerforms tasks as delegated, such as blood pressure monitoring, weights, and other assigned tasksEnsures all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulationsResponsible for the organization and cleanliness of supplies and equipment, ensuring restocking of inventoryCollaborates with Direct Support Professionals to ensure that the needs of the individuals are being metCommunicates immediately any changes in medical or behavioral status to supervisorPerforms all other duties as assignedThis position will remain open until filled.
