Dishwasher-AM SHIFT

The dishwashers at Julio’s Mexican Food are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all tableware and cooking utensils utilized in the restaurant using machine and manual cleaning methods. They must also ensure that the dishwashing areas are maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility while taking care of the equipment and tools provided to them by Julio’s. Like all other positions at the restaurant they must comply with all company policies.

Fill three compartments sink following health department guidelines, changing soap water frequently.

Deposit all trash from the restaurant in the dumpster located in the parking area.

Break down cardboard boxes and deposit in outside container.

Thoroughly clean workstations at the end of the shift leaving no dirty dishes.

When closing, perform assigned daily and weekly duties like washing floor mats and trash cans.

Responsible for making proper use of dishwashing machine to avoid any malfunction.

Must notify manager on duty anytime dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperatures.

General restaurant and restrooms cleaning as directed.

Help receive and put away product from suppliers to coolers and storage areas rotating it following FIFO policy (First In/First Out).

Wipe out any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.

Plastic apron and gloves (provided by Julio’s)
