Machine Minder (3rd Shift)

Worthington Samuel Coil Processing (WSCP), a joint venture of Worthington Steel, is hiring Machine Operators to join our production team in Twinsburg, OH, with opportunities available on night shift. In this hands‑on role, you will support production by loading materials, positioning work, setting up jobs, operating and adjusting machinery, and packaging finished products. Employees work a non‑rotating 12‑hour shift, following a 2‑2‑3 bi‑weekly pattern.

Responsibilities

Perform one of multiple roles, including operating exit, entry and set‑up tasks to ensure ongoing machine operation.

Package, weigh, and load/unload material, and stage material

Perform miscellaneous tasks throughout plant to ensure safe, efficient and quality production of materials

Desired Experience

Ability to Perform repetitive, physically demanding work; stand up to 12 hours; maintain full mobility and manual dexterity in a non‑climate‑controlled environment (heat/cold exposure); lift up to 50lbs.

Strong attention to detail with ability to retain and apply instructions.

Demonstrated reliability with strong attendance record

Mechanical aptitude is a plus

Basic math and computer skills

Ability to operate banding tools and read a tape measure

Recognize and detect quality issues

Read and comprehend detailed instructions in English

Follow all safety policies and procedures

Good oral and written communication skills

Sense of urgency; desire to work in a fast‑paced environment

Able to work 24/7 schedule, including weekend and holidays

Schedule
The facility operates on a 24/7 Schedule. This position requires working a non‑rotating 12‑hour shift schedule. Employees will 6PM to 6AM, following a 2‑2‑3 bi‑weekly pattern.
