Electrician - Temporary Position

Electrician I (Holiday Shutdown) - Sterling Heights MI.

Contract position from July 3rd-July 15th

Day Shift - pay rate: up to $30.75 per hour (based on proven work history)

Required Duties of the Electrician I:

Individual is experienced performing the Electrician activities listed below on their own with little to no guidance or assistance from Skilled Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment. Electrician activities include:

Wire machinery from drawings and bill of materials

Wire panels

Install communication blocks

Wire Ethernet

Wire auxiliary power

Wire robots

Wire safety circuits

Wire 480V

Tie in Tools/Final dress of tools to controls

Install temporary power

Bend and install conduit

Prepare tool with I/O block, Device Net and duct work

Verify tags, tag units, and cords

Run cords and dress tool per customer requirements

Ability to drill, tap, and ream holes

Use of hand saw, drill press, and grinders

Required Tools of the Electrician I :

VOM (Multi-meter), Straight Blade Screwdriver (Small & Med.), #1 and #2 Phillips Screwdriver, Channel Locks (2 pair), Side Cutters - Flush Cutters, 1/0 Cable Cutters, Wire Strippers, Stakon Crimpers (Wire size #10-#14), Cable Strippers, Razor Knife, Small Ball Peen or Brass Hammer, Center Punch, Tape Measure (Metric and Standard), Combination Square, Allen Wrenches (Metric and Standard), Socket Wrench Set (Metric and Standard), Combination Wrench Set (1/4 inch to 3/4 inch and 7mm to 16mm), Crescent Wrench (6 inch to 10 inch), Torpedo Level with Magnet base, Files (small and medium), Tap Handle, Air Nozzle, Air Drill, Air Die Grinder, Air 90 Deg. Polish
