Healthcare Technology Architect

As our Architect, you will be the technical authority for one or more core product lines, owning the end‑to‑end architecture and ensuring alignment with Accruent’s platform strategy. You will design scalable, secure, and AI-enabled product architectures that support both our core SaaS offerings and emerging AI-driven capabilities. You will operate at the intersection of product engineering, platform services (APIM, Identity, Data, AI), and business strategy, partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, Data & AI teams, and TechOps to set standards, guide implementation, and drive execution.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Architecture & StrategyDefine and own the architecture vision, standards, and roadmap for assigned products or product linesDesign scalable, high-performance, and resilient systems across application, integration, data, and AI layersEstablish and maintain current-state and future-state architecture documentationAlign product architecture with business priorities, customer needs, and platform strategy (Identity, APIM, Data, AI)AI & Data Platform EnablementArchitect product capabilities that leverage AI/ML and GenAI services, including:AI-assisted workflows and decisioningAgent integrations and agent-driven experiencesData-driven insights and predictive capabilitiesPartner with Data & AI teams to ensure:Data pipelines, models, and services are scalable, secure, and production-readyAI capabilities are integrated into products in a consistent and reusable mannerDefine architecture patterns for:Model integration (APIs, event-driven, batch/real-time)Data access and governanceAI service orchestration within product workflowsPlatform Integration & StandardizationEnsure consistent adoption of shared platform capabilities, including:API Management (APIM)Identity and access management (Auth0)Data and integration platformsAI/ML services and shared AI infrastructureTranslate platform capabilities into practical, product-level implementationsIdentify platform gaps and help evolve reusable patterns and “paved roads”Responsible AI, Security & GovernanceContribute guardrails for responsible AI usage, including:Data privacy and residencyAccess control and identity propagationModel usage governance and auditabilityPartner with Security and Data teams to ensure compliance with:Enterprise security standardsData governance requirementsContribute to architecture governance, including design reviews and ADRsDelivery Engagement & Technical LeadershipEmbed with engineering teams to co-design solutions for key initiatives and roadmap deliveryLead architecture reviews, design sessions, and tradeoff discussionsEnsure decisions are intentional, documented, and aligned across teamsBalance speed vs quality, enabling rapid delivery without compromising architecture integrityEngineering Collaboration & EnablementPartner with Engineering, SRE, Ops, and Data teams on roadmap execution and delivery practicesProvide hands-on architectural guidance and mentorship to engineers and tech leadsPromote reusable patterns, standards, and developer-friendly approachesEnable teams to integrate platform and AI capabilities with minimal frictionTechnical Debt, Risk & ScalabilityIdentify and mitigate:Architectural risksPerformance and scalability concernsAI and data-related risks (model performance, data drift, integration complexity)Own product-level technical debt strategy and prioritizationDrive proactive architecture evolution rather than reactive fixesCross-Product Alignment & IntegrationEnsure product architecture supports cross-product workflows and shared capabilitiesPromote consistency across:APIsData modelsAI integrations and servicesContribute to a unified architecture vision supporting One Accruent platform strategyRequired EducationB.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceRequired Experience8+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or product architecture rolesExperience designing cloud-based, distributed SaaS systems in production environmentsExperience integrating platforms across API, identity, data, and AI domainsExperience working across multiple teams and influencing technical directionRequired CompetenciesStrong expertise in:Strong expertise in API design and integration patterns (REST, event-driven, asynchronous), including streaming and messaging;
