RDA/DENTAL ASSISTANCE

San Tan Mountain Dental is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team.

Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, sustain patient comfort, and provide appropriate education throughout treatment.

Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to provide quality care.

Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography, etc.).

Provide superior chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act.

Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.

Manage supply and inventory levels, and place and expedite orders as needed.

Partner with the providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment.

Dental assistant certification and/or x‑ray certification if required by the state dental practice act.

Experience with Dentrix or other dental software.

Arizona Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) certificate required.

At least 1 year of experience in a dental setting.

regular HIPAA training required.

Available to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.

Must complete a TB test during the pre‑employment process (standard requirement for dental office roles).
