Help deliver high-quality diagnostic care to the NC State community by providing professional radiology services in a patient-centered clinical environment. As a Radiology Technician at Campus Health, you will produce high-quality diagnostic images using modern radiology equipment and cloud-based software while supporting providers with timely, accurate imaging that contributes to exceptional patient care. This role combines technical expertise, patient interaction, and a commitment to safety to ensure efficient clinical operations and positive patient experiences.
Perform radiographic procedures, including patient positioning and digital image capture, to produce high-quality diagnostic images for Campus Health providers.
Communicate relevant patient information to clinicians and radiologists, serving as a liaison to support timely diagnosis and treatment.
Clinical Operations & Documentation
Accurately enter patient information into the electronic health record and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Maintain radiology equipment through routine quality control, cleaning, and monitoring to ensure reliable operation and high-quality imaging.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Maintain a clean clinical environment and follow infectious disease protocols to support patient and staff safety.
Properly handle medical, biological, and infectious waste while adhering to radiation safety, OSHA, and Environmental Health and Safety standards.
Participate in scheduled meetings, drills, training, and other departmental activities to support ongoing operational readiness.

Participate in fire and emergency preparedness drills.
Must report to work during Adverse Weather and related scenarios and for public health emergencies.
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience in medical diagnostics; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Some positions may require additional training, certifications, or licenses.
Ability to work independently and practice good judgement to ensure high quality care.
Ability to perform or learn phlebotomy for high volume days.
Commercial Driver's License Required?
