As a Security Officer Unarmed Campus Patrol in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic education location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas support access control activities and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you contribute to a caring team-oriented culture built on reliability innovation agility and integrity.
Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while communicating with campus staff visitors and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings walkways parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter trespassing policy violations and/or disruptions to daily operations.
Document incidents observations and/or maintenance or hazard concerns and relay relevant information to supervisors and designated personnel.
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
