Position Overview
Ivinson Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced Paramedic for a 13-week travel assignment to provide high-quality pre-hospital emergency medical care. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
The Paramedic will provide emergency medical services within the scope of Wyoming licensure, following established protocols and working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Please note: EMT candidates will not be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in accordance with Wyoming Paramedic scope of practice and established clinical protocols.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, establish care priorities, and deliver appropriate emergency treatment.
Administer emergency medications safely and accurately.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and transport information using the WATRS reporting system.
Ensure ambulances and station equipment remain clean, stocked, and ready for service.
Assist with patient care in other hospital departments, when requested, under the direction of the provider and RN, within scope of practice.
Effectively prioritize tasks while managing time, resources, and patient care responsibilities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide safe, high-quality care.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Active Wyoming Paramedic License (or eligibility to practice in Wyoming)
Minimum of 1 year of Paramedic experience (required)
EMT candidates will not be considered
Current certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
ATT (as required by the facility)
