Honeywell Aerospace's Advanced Cryogenic Platform (ACP) team is seeking a highly qualified Advanced Physicist to join our Electromagnetics team at our Broomfield, CO location.

You will contribute to the development of Honeywell Aerospace's next generation solutions by designing, testing, and validating products/processes from prototypes to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior scientists. This role also requires partnering with project managers and technical leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute the work required to meet customer deliverables.

Supporting the design and development of integrated environmental solutions with cryogenics and electromagnetics being key components

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

A passion for and experience with advanced electromagnetic materials, as well as a theoretical understanding of the subject.

S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain government security clearance

Master's degree in physics or engineering with 3-4 years of experience, or PhD with 0-2 years of experience.

Understanding of experimental design to gather the desired data

Experience with low temperature cryogenic design, analysis, and experimental systems

Demonstrated experience with modeling, simulation tools, analytical techniques, and related fields (e.g., Matlab, Mathematica, COMSOL, SolidWorks)

Current security clearance for work on government contracts

Flexible thinking for an evolving business environment
