Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. This job is ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon's McKinney, Texas facility.What You Will Do:Support the program in the Failure Reporting And Corrective Action (FRACAS) process for product production and/or sustainmentSupport development of Built-In test (BIT), reliability/maintainability/testability and diagnostic associated requirements as requiredHelp define failure modes and their effects on systemsCollaborate with hardware/software design teams to identify and resolve non-conformancesQualifications You Must Have:Typically Requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience with Failure Reporting and Corrective Action (FRACAS) process for product production and/or sustainmentMicrosoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Power PointThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Prefer:Product testing and troubleshooting in the factory/depot or field environmentWorking within cross-disciplinary teamsPresenting data to internal or external customersReliability/maintainability/testability analysis tools (e.g. Reliasoft Tool Suite, DSI eXpress, or Windchill)Interpreting interfaces between hardware and softwareEW/Radar/EO-IR system experienceSoftware/firmware development and implementationDiagnostic dependency modelingExperience working in the DoD customer community (US Army, US Air Force, US Navy)What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
