Facility is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Facility provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery. Other hospital services include labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We also offer inpatient, and outpatient surgical services.
Facility is a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Physical Rehabilitation Center is CARF accredited. We are a Level II Trauma Center. We are verified by the American College of Surgeons. We offer a freestanding ER in Vero Beach. We provide emergency treatment for adults and children. We also offer the areas only Level III Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units. The Physical Therapist (PT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete process of therapeutic care of an assigned group of patients in coordination with the physician and the patient care team. The Physical Therapist completes patient assessments and participates in developing and implementing individualized care plans focusing on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient experience. The Physical Therapist provides or directs a majority of the patients physical therapy to support patients throughout the continuum of care.
You will provide purposeful and skilled therapeutic care at patients home, using procedures and techniques to produce a change in condition/function consistent with the physicians plan of care.
You will instruct patient/family/caregiver in the use of therapies, exercises, therapeutic appliances, and/or prosthetic devices to be used outside of therapy sessions.
Licensed Physical Therapy
Masters Degree, or Bachelors Degree
Must have at least 1 yr PT experience
