School Days Position 3 hrs/day (10:15am - 1:15pm) Range II ($19.23/hr starting)
The mission of our Food Services Department is to proudly offer our students a wide variety of nutritious, affordable and satisfying meals that enables them to succeed academically and physically, while teaching lifelong healthful eating habits. A competent and customer service oriented Food Service Staff that participates in decision-making; effectively manages resources; Promoting nutritional awareness and student participation through successful customer service, marketing and merchandising. Ensuring financial self-sufficiency by managing resources effectively and with innovation.
The cashier is responsible to accurately process food service purchases, collect and disburse money, and restock inventory. This position must also balance the cash register, prepare reports, and perform general kitchen duties.
High School Diploma
Processes food service purchases by entering charges or cash payments to appropriate accounts, and collects and disburses money accurately. Monitors student purchases to ensure proper charges, component selection and information provided on student account. Balances till, detects and corrects errors, prepares reports and prepares daily cash receipts for business office.
Restock beverages, condiments and ala carte items as necessary. Clean and sanitize serving area. Attend all district wide food service meetings.
