Temporary Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

Job Description A highly regarded, full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its sophisticated Commercial Real Estate practice in New Haven (preferred), Hartford or Stamford .

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal who enjoys taking ownership of transactions and working directly with attorneys and clients on the financing, acquisition, and disposition of commercial real estate, including complex multi-family and multi-state transactions.

Draft commercial loan closing documents, purchase and sale agreements, correspondence, and memoranda

Coordinate and review title, survey, zoning, insurance, municipal, UCC, litigation, bankruptcy, and corporate due diligence

Handle post-closing matters, including e-recordings, recording issues, final title policies, document transmittals, and outstanding undertaking items

6+ years of legal experience involving commercial real estate transactions

• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate financing and closing processes
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-assisted legal resources
