Head of Recruiting & HR

Provide operations management and supervisory staff with support and guidance on employee relation concerns through investigation and assisting with mediation efforts as appropriate to create positive work environment.

Employee relations contact for day to day Responsible for conflict resolution efforts.

Assist as an intermediary between Regional HR Director and operations.

Function as the “hands on” HR Manager for one or more operation.

Ensure operations are in compliance with OSHA standards.

Provide assistance with start-ups and facilitate New Hire Orientation.

Ensure Enterprise system has accurate employee data.

Ensure compliance of training standards are met.

Recruit and post job openings.

Conduct routine salary surveys for your operations as requested.

Ensure HR training for supervisors.

Assist supervisors with corrective action/performance improvement plan reviews.

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in business management, human resources, psychology or related field; must communicate professionally and positively with employees and all levels of management

Required knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulatory compliance

A fundamental understanding of computer processing including word processing and spreadsheet applications At least five years related experience and/or

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferred.
