A Mixed Signal Validation System Architect at Emerson T&M (NI) is a trusted technical advisor who understands validation and characterization lab testing intimately; including commonly existing methods used and can guide with a vision of future trends, Scope/SMU/Arb/Digital competition, and customer needs to define architectural requirements for products and systems.

Drives the technical vision for the Semiconductor Validation Mixed Signal space, along with establishing a clear path on how to get there by working through other engineering teams. Seeks innovation to provide differentiated capabilities to customers, to enter new markets, and to amplify innovation within the organization by leveraging existing technology and influence new technical investments.

Strong software background focused on instrumentation control and data analysis, with hands‑on experience in T&M tools (LabVIEW, Python, C#, Instrument Studio, TestStand) and NI drivers (DC‑Power, NI‑Digital, NI‑Scope), enabling scalable and maintainable automated test system architectures.

Leads customer discussions on future system needs, trends, and technical exchanges that guide NI’s roadmap. Able to explain hard topics in simple terms and in customer context.

Able to do context switching to do system consulting for customer opportunities​

Familiar with one or multiple digital standards and their test specifications like MIPI, I2C, SWI3S, etc.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
