This role exists to keep client systems stable, secure, and improving without constant supervision.We expect engineers who can execute, think ahead, and take ownership. Accuracy matters. Speed matters. Documentation matters. You are trusted with production systems and expected to treat them that way.Most work follows established standards and procedures. Sometimes priorities shift quickly and problems do not come with neat instructions. You must be comfortable working independently, communicating clearly, and finishing what you start.If you need step-by-step handholding, avoid accountability, or struggle to manage your own workload, this will be miserable for you. If you take pride in clean execution, professional judgment, and getting things done right the first time, you will fit here.This role is part of the Technical Services Team (TST).AI tools may be used to assist with research or troubleshooting. Final decisions, documentation, and execution are your responsibility. Blind copy-paste solutions are not acceptable. Engineers are expected to understand what they deploy.What You'll DoKey Responsibilities & TasksSupport, maintain, and improve client server, network, security, and cloud environmentsTroubleshoot Windows Server infrastructure including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, and RDSManage and support Microsoft 365 tenants including email, identity, and migrationsSupport virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V and some VMwareConfigure and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points, and VPNsHandle escalations professionally and transparently, escalating when appropriate without hiding issuesExecute infrastructure projects and changes according to defined scope and standardsDocument systems, changes, and procedures clearly and consistentlyFollow security, operational, and documentation standards exactlyOwn your work, communicate early when something is unclear, and close tasks without chasingThis is an execution role. You are expected to deliver without being reminded, nudged, or micromanagedWhat You'll NeedExperience, Skills, Certifications & Education3+ years of experience in systems administration, MSP support, or infrastructure rolesServer-level certification required (Microsoft Windows Server or equivalent)Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and core infrastructure servicesSolid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and permissionsFoundational networking knowledge including VLANs, routing basics, and VPNsExperience administering Microsoft 365 environmentsWorking knowledge of virtualization platformsStrong documentation and organizational habitsClear, professional written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently and manage your own prioritiesAdvanced certifications are a plus.
