CVOR Nurse Educator

CVOR Nurse Educator Registered Nurse CVOR 13 weeks Day Shift 5 x 8 Hours Minimum 3-5 years of experience required Must have a current nursing license

Description: The CVOR Nurse Educator role is primarily focused on education and training within the CVOR specialty. The nurse educator will work with a larger program that handles transplants, ventricular assist devices, heart failure, aortic work, robotic procedures, and possibly congenital heart surgery. Responsibilities include assessing educational needs and performance gaps. The educator will develop targeted training programs and choose appropriate teaching strategies. This role also includes evaluating learner performance and facilitating personalized instruction to address individual needs. Candidates must implement teaching strategies that promote experiential learning and improve nursing education and practice. The nurse educator will provide a safe learning environment and offer clinical supervision for learners. Knowledge of infection control, regulatory requirements, and national patient safety goals is necessary. The candidate must be a member of a recognized nursing organization. Travel experience is required for this role.
