Relocation Assistance Eligible for Qualified TechnologistsLocation: 617 Uptown Blvd, Suite 103 Cedar Hill, TX 75104Hours: (Full-Time) Monday-Friday between 6:45am-6:00pm (Occasional Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm) Additional coverage for Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Red Oak, Burleson, HEB, and Arlington CentersDepartment Highlights:Cohesive Team EnvironmentScreening Mammo and Bone DensitySpacious, Beautiful Center!Center of ExcellenceHere is what you will need:Texas Medical Board License - TMBCurrent ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic TechnologyContinuing Education: MQSA/FDA - 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.A Day in the Life of a MammographerProvide services and support for the following areas:Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis WayAbility to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills; Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique; Performs other work-related duties as assigned.The Mammography Technologist is expected to practice safe procedures and adheres to radiation safety measures under the supervision of the Radiology supervisor or the Radiologist.
