Physician’s Nurse - Full time

Work Saturday & Sunday, Get Paid for Full Time!This weekend warrior position offers full-time pay for working Saturday & Sunday. Our facility is small and we take pride in our family like setting! Responsibilities include providing oversight to the staff and residents on weekends, ensuring high care standards are maintained.Education, Experience and Qualifications:Must be a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) with current New York State licenseHas previous geriatric and/or supervisory experienceMust be CPR certified.Assume responsibilities for and direct activities relating to health and nursing care of all residents.Accurate reporting and documentation of resident status and care needs information.Assist resident's attending physician during visits/rounds as needed.Report to physicians residents' condition changes, etc., Will schedule and obtain laboratory specimens as ordered by the physician or Medical Director.Will assist with follow-through or may initiate precautionary measures in case of suspected infection in cooperation with the DONAssign personnel and make staff adjustments according to needed coverage to meet resident needs.Responsible for supervision of nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAsPersonal Requirements:The ability to work in a team concept and communicate effectively with staff at all levels, community groups, families and residents.
