Position Type: Part-Time/Full-Time Pay Rate: $5.50/hour

As a bartender at Mesero, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be an ambassador of our beverage and food selections, offering recommendations while making cocktails with precision and care. Our bartenders play a critical role in contributing to the overall guest experience by delivering excellent service with a welcoming smile and professional attitude.

Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant guest according to Mesero's recipes and service standards.

Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout each shift.

Ensure compliance with all state and local alcohol service regulations, including checking guest identification and managing guest consumption responsibly.

Efficiently use a point-of-sale (POS) system to ring in orders, process payments, and make change.

Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including both drinks and food, and be able to assist guests with questions or suggestions.

Handle guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Previous bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar is preferred.

Strong knowledge of drink preparation, mixology, and wine/beer selections.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest hospitality.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol per state regulation.
