Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specialized in Emergency Room/Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Plattsburgh, NY. Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all age ranges

Administer treatments and medications as prescribed

Prepare patients for tests and notify physicians of any changes in condition

Utilize EPIC for accurate patient documentation and care coordination

Manage nurse-directed drips and perform EKGs, as necessary

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

Active NY license or proof of application

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an emergency department setting

Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale

Recent EPIC experience within the past 2 years is mandatory

Must be able to work with nurse-patient ratios higher than 1:4
