This role contributes to employee experience and operational continuity by maintaining common areas, restocking supplies, managing waste, and supporting on-site activities throughout the workday. The Custodian, Day Porter works collaboratively within Facilities and Custodial teams while providing consistent, on-site service.Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and perform spot cleaning of carpeted areas as needed.Refill and clean coffee machines and maintain beverage stations in common areas.Set up additional trash, recycling, and cardboard collection bins to support outdoor or on-site events.Monitor, restock, and organize janitorial supply closets, including paper products and cleaning supplies.Replenish bottled water for conference rooms and maintain break room supplies such as coffee and tea stations.Drive company vehicles including pickup trucks, vans, or passenger vehicles to support custodial and facilities operations.Success in This Role Looks LikeFacilities remain clean, organized, and presentable throughout the workday.Common areas and restrooms are consistently stocked and maintained without service interruptions.Campus events and daily operations receive timely custodial support.Position RequirementsSpeak and understand English to follow instructions and communicate effectively.Lift up to fifty pounds safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.PreferredDemonstrate basic computer skills for task tracking or communication support.Training and mentorship opportunities.Education reimbursement program.Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule.Please note that the compensation range may be adjusted in the future, and bonus and incentive compensation plans may apply.All compensation and benefits are subject to plan documents and written agreements.Equal Opportunity EmployerApplied Medical is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
