Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized nursing care to neonates ranging from 23 weeks gestation to 4 months of age.
Attend high-risk deliveries, including C-sections, and respond to neonatal emergencies.
Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill newborns requiring intensive care.
Operate and manage advanced life-support equipment including ventilators, oscillators, and nitric oxide therapy.
Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and parenteral nutrition.
Assist with bedside procedures such as intubations, IV insertions, septic workups, and catheter placements.
Deliver respiratory support including CPAP and mechanical ventilation.
Monitor vital signs and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
Educate and support families regarding neonatal care and treatment plans.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of NICU experience (Level III-IV required).
Proven experience managing micro preemies and high-acuity neonatal patients.
Hands-on experience with ventilators, oscillators, and vasoactive drips (pressors).
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state/district of practice.
Current Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - Required
STABLE Certification - Required
Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent NICU experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Experience in high-volume or tertiary care NICU settings.

Distance Requirement
~ Candidate must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
