Design Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and create tailored interventions to help them achieve their personal rehabilitation goals.
Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive and coherent care.
Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and training for both patients and their family members on effective therapeutic strategies to ensure continued progress at home.
Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient progress meticulously and adapt treatment plans as necessary to align with clinical outcomes and patient needs.
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Commitment to ongoing education with opportunities for certifications and training.
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure.
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
