Assignment Details:

Location: Aitkin, Minnesota (approximately 2 hours from Minneapolis and 1.5 hours from Duluth)

Facility: 25-Bed Critical Access Hospital

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Days; 4 x 9-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed)

Call Requirement: 1 weekday call per week and every 6th weekend

Openings: 1

Start Date: ASAP

As an Operating Room Registered Nurse, here's a big-picture view of what you'll do:

Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital

Circulate a variety of surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient care

Prepare patients before surgery and monitor patient safety throughout the surgical experience

Document patient care accurately and communicate changes in patient condition

Follow physician orders and facility policies while ensuring quality outcomes

A few must-haves for Operating Room Registered Nurses:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Active Minnesota RN license (or license pending )

Recent Operating Room nursing experience

Experience with:

C-Sections

da Vinci Robotic Surgery

Endoscopy Procedures

Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
