Managing Head of Retail Sales

Summary The Sales Supervisor is a sales-driven retail leader responsible for achieving individual sales goals while setting the standard for customer service and store presentation. In the absence of Store Management, the Sales Supervisor oversees staff, conducts store meetings, and ensures consistent execution of store operations and KPIs. The role includes coaching the team, building client relationships, and supporting visual and inventory standards.
Responsibilities Lead by example in customer service, product knowledge, and brand representation
Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and store KPIs; drive suggestive selling and client development
Oversee store operations including open/close procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising
Support hiring, onboarding, training, and performance coaching of store staff
Conduct store meetings and ensure adequate floor coverage in absence of Store Management
Resolve customer issues and maintain a positive in-store atmosphere
Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in a luxury retail environment or similar industry
Prior experience selling high-end goods and working with clientele-oriented sales
Strong computer skills (MS Office) and familiarity with retail systems (e.g., Teamwork)
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a retail team
Cultivated or established client following preferred; willingness to relocate is a plus
