Exciting Registered Nurse Opportunity: Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team!
Job Description:

• Positions Available: 2
• Working Hours: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Start Date: ASAP

- Patient Population:

• Pediatric and Med-Surg experience preferred.
• Focus on adult patients (females over 18).
• Care for post-partum mothers, post-operative patients, and general med-surg.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age and needs.
• Ensure high-quality, efficient, and safe care aligned with unit standards.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, establishing priorities based on patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans within established timeframes.
• Evaluate and modify care plans based on patient outcomes.
• Participate in health education and discharge planning for patients and families.
• Execute timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
• Conduct Point of Care testing procedures as needed.

Staff Responsibilities:

• Utilize effective communication strategies for optimal outcomes.
• Delegate and coordinate team assignments based on patient and unit needs.
• Participate in the orientation of new staff and students on the unit.
• Promote a positive work environment and display a supportive attitude.
• Collaborate with others to achieve unit and organizational goals.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Skills: Current knowledge and skills relevant to patient population.

- Licenses/Certifications:

• Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required.
• Experience: Newly hired nurses with two or less years as a Registered Nurse will be hired at entry-level status. Higher clinical ladder considerations available based on relevant experience and education.
